The Møns Klint watch is the brainchild of Rasmus Sørensen a designer from Copenhagen who felt there was nothing in the market that could suit a wet day in the water followed by a sharp night on the town.
“It was some time ago when I was in the middle of travelling when I realised the difficulty of wearing the perfect watch for all occasions – from a surfing adventure to an exclusive bar. All I needed was a watch that guided me for all the activities that I followed on the day – while still looking sharp. That’s the little story of how I came up with the idea of launching my own watch company.” Rasmus told Drift
The watch design was inspired by the striking and rough nature at Møns Klint - the collection reflects the sites many diverse colours and formations. The southern coast of this part of Denmark is dominated by the highest cliffs in the country, some fall a sheer 400ft to the sea below. The cliffs are a popular tourist attraction with many travelling to take in the views of the Baltic Sea and visit the forests, pastures and steep hills of the area.
