An artistic journey from Zachary Bennett-Brook - a 23 year old Torres Strait Islander surfer and artist now living in Wollongong on the South Coast of NSW. Zac has shared his artworks which combine his passion for surfing and the ocean, infused with his Indigenous heritage.
Zac creates artworks from recycled surfboards and fins, putting a modern twist and his own unique touch on traditional Indigenous Australian art. Drawing and gathering inspiration from the oceans blue walls and sandy floors, he works with different colour tones commonly associated with the sea throughout his works.
