A brand new, environmental surf documentary starring professional freesurfer Dave Rastovich, is coming to Central America in order to raise awareness of the International Whaling Commission (IWC) annual meeting that is taking place in Panama City, 2nd - 6th July.
Once Surfer’s for Cetaceans’ TransparentSea campaign came to an end I was free to explore. The Californian winter was closing in so I bought a one way ticket to Costa Rica and took the next flight to warm water and sunshine.
We had some feedback about the Malibu Lagoon issue that the TransparentSea voyage touched on, so I asked Surfers for Cetaceans ambassador Lauren Lindsey Hill for more information. Here is what she has sent us.
