Two weeks ago - on July 16th - RVCA and Desillusion magazine proudly released This is Alex, a video portrait that shows how longboarder Alex Knost redefines modern surfing by spearheading a new generation that wants to have fun, not money; that lives individuality, not limitations; that cherishes creativity, not norms.


For the occasion, DSL & RVCA with the help of Raen optic, Organized the “Premiere” ( in an Garage, close to the famous spot “la cote des basques” , Biarritz, France ) Framed by an exhibition with the grand works of RVCA advocates Benjamin JeanJean, Margaux Arramon-Tucoo, Robin Falxa and Héctor Menéndez, more than 150 invited guests were taken aback by the presence of Alex Knost himself who flew in straight from his home in Costa Mesa, California, to host the movie premiere and later enter the stage with his band “Tomorrows Tulips”.
