Neal Purchase Jr tornou-se mundialmente conhecido pela sua participação no filme Glass Love do Andrew Kidman. O seu bonito estilo de backside encaixou de forma perfeita nos longos tubos de Kirra proporcionando imagens inesquecíveis. Surfista e Shaper, Neal é um excelente guitarrista que podemos escutar em bandas como os Brown Birds from Windy Hill (com Andrew Kidman) ou nos The Haldane’s Daughters.

Filho de um dos mais importantes shapers da Sidney nos anos 60 e 70, Neal cedo seguiu as pisadas do pai e criou uma sólida reputação, especialmente com as suas fantásticas 2+1, como a Cuttlefish ou a Snubb, e ultimamente tem ganho notoriedade com as suas quads, a Quartet e a Sweet Pea, As suas pranchas são frequentemente usadas por surfistas como Dave Rastovish, Dane Peterson ou Harrison Roach.
