October 01, 2014 | Words By:

gopro_thumbThe ultimate action camera that has changed the way we view our lives, not least the surf, is back in a new incarnation. The Hero4.
Available in three models, the H4 has most bases covered with some significant upgrades in power and quality. The flagship camera, the Black edition, shoots in 4K at 30fps. The new Silver edition now features a built in touchscreen, which will save you having to sync the device to your phone to see what is going on. Finally they have launched a new budget version simply called the Hero that comes in at an amazing £99.

The following film was shot in the 4K mode on the new Black edition.

With the advent of the new budget Hero though perhaps we be fortunate enough to witness more gems like this. Shot using the Hero3 in dishwasher mode.
