A 15,000 mile surf road trip - The West Road

It’s Monday morning, I’m in the office and really don’t want to be. I guess that’s normal but I just made the feeling a zillion times worse by watching part 3 of the West Road - Central America. It should come with a warning. Seriously.

Tom Bing and Sally McGee are on an epic, year long, 15,000 mile surf road trip from Santiago, Chile to San Francisco. On motorbikes and carrying surfboards to surf everything they can. They’ve been traveling up the Pan American Highway through 12 countries and some amazing surf and scenery.

We’re stoked on it, we feel it sums up the essence of the trip and the way we have been living

Their latest video is part 3 of the trip (you can find part 1 here and part 2 here) and covers the last of the Central America section of the trip before they head off to Mexico. It also features Kanoa Igarashi, Leo Fioravanti and Zeke Lau who they happened to cross paths with on the road.

Tom sent us the video last week and told us “We’re stoked on it, we feel it sums up the essence of the trip and the way we have been living.”

That’s some awesome living. Am I jealous? Yeah, a lot.
