Surfers Against Sewage has teamed up with The Crown Estate and World Animal Protection and are calling for volunteers to join them at beaches nationwide from October the 17th – 19th for this year’s Autumn Beach Clean Series.
Over 120 locations have already been confirmed to host the series of events at beaches from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, Cromer to Portrush. These community events will be led by local volunteers who are passionate about their stretch of coastline. On the eve of Halloween, join in with these guardians in protecting our beaches, waves and wildlife from the marine litter crisis.
If you are local to Croyde then pop along and help out with the band Sunset Sons. Kicking off around 10.30am, the boys will join the SAS team and local volunteers to clear the beach. Following this, the band will play an afternoon acoustic gig in the Blue Groove for all those that attended.
