Dream of riding gnarly waves, fresh powder or hoverboards? Then according to the manufacturer the Onewheel is for you. An urban combination of surfing, snowboarding and skating, this two horsepower single wheeled cruiser turns the pavement into your playground.

Onewheel uses a dynamic electronic stabilisation system allowing you to carve silky smooth heel and toe turns with complete ease, it also runs well off-road.

Onewheel was originally launched last year on Kickstarter where it smashed its target by nearly six times. The excitement has settled down and you will be pleased to know that mere mortals can lay their hands on the product as it has just entered full production.

Powerful simplicity – Onewheel has only one moving part, but sensors and control electronics make the motion super smooth

Unfortunately the hype surrounding the product still lives on and at present the Onewheel has an eight week lead time. It currently comes in at a snip of $1499 (£995/€1330) but this doesn’t include European shipping or import tax so do be aware if you are splashing out.
