Wagon Surf Adventures, an old removals truck converted to the ultimate surf motor, is now half way through their first winter season providing ‘dream surf trips at affordable prices’.
The van which offers surf-nuts the unique opportunity of chasing the swell and waking up right next to the waves began its journey in Portugal, where they toured the west coast from early October until the end of November.
“As we travelled we welcomed guests from all over the globe all with different backgrounds and levels of experience and the feedback from them has been incredible.” Matt Gough owner of Wagon Surf told us
“In Autumn, the mid west coast of Portugal was firing and provided superb wave quality and consistency.”
“We mixed up our trips with some fun days out, allowing our guests to experience some of the rich culture that’s on offer in Portugal.”
“Next we decided to head further south and migrate to Morocco, to stay with the weather and waves! Morocco’s rugged and wild coast is ideal for what we do. There are tons of uncrowded and high quality waves, dotted down the entire length of the country.”
“We’ve made a few improvements to the Wagon, making it even more capable at covering some of the more challenging terrains. Sand tracks and improved suspension can go a long way to getting us to all the gems that are hidden away down long sandy tracks in the desert lands.”
“The below video was shot during our time in Portugal by Edward Van Dongen and Yorick Leusink. It’s a super nice edit which gives viewers a taste of what it’s like to join Wagon Surf Adventures for a surf holiday.”
