Bear Surfboards is proud to announce a new rider in its International Team – Ben Haworth.

Ben, from North Devon, is ranked number one longboarder in England, and recently added a second place at the Eurosurf in Bundoran 2011 to his CV. At the press conference in Italy Ben said “I’m very happy to join the Bear Surfboards Team in this period that is so positive for me! The results are confirming my fast growing in the european contests and Bear will help me to score more interesting results in the rest of the World! I have chosen Bear because it is my world favourite longboard brand!”.

Congratulations to Ben Haworth, 2011 Champion.

Ben won the 3rd BLU event of the year, where he came first, having won three of the four events this year. He beat Ben Skinner, who has won twenty British titles in the past.

Andy Haworth’s latest project gets an update and trailers, before this summer’s release.

Andy Haworth, of Ben Haworth fame, is creating a film dedicated to life and surfing in Devon, featuring some of the UK’s best longboard sliders, including Ashley Braunton, Phil Hill, Ben Skinner and Elliot Dudley amongst others.

The film documents the surfing community in Devon, through all of the seasons, portraying the beauty and welcoming nature of the Devon surfing life.
