July 23, 2009 | Words By: Angela

ralf-goetze-by-andy-foxxAndreas Fuchs (Andy Foxx) is a freelance professional surf, water and lifestyle photographer based in Austria but traveling most of the year to exotic remote surf destinations. He regularly contributes his photographs to magazines such as ‘GQ’, ‘Surfer’s Path’, ‘Surfer’, ‘Surfing’, ’3sesenta’ and dozens more…

“Photography to me means diving into other cultures – getting to know how people live in different countries, absorbing exotic atmospheres, and soaking up touching moments. I am inspired by colours and patterns, and like to explore contrasts and opposites, which are for me the salt in the soup on every trip. In parallel to my photo series I am also writing background stories about my trips and travel experiences.

There’s nothing better than life! You just have to grab it – don’t worry about tomorrow, just live now!”
