With winter bearing down fast on another poor excuse for an English summer thoughts turn to the fruits that the cold weather will bring. The good news is the waves will most likely be empty again and the opportunity will arise to kit yourself out in suitable attire to deal with the incoming inclement weather, so not all doom and gloom..
We spoke to Richard owner of Passenger to see how their Autumn and Winter kit for the new season is shaping up.
We constantly work hard to design and source unique textured fabric
“This collection as always is based around a balance between forward thinking designs and simplistic concepts combining style with functionality. We constantly work hard trying to design and source unique textured fabrics and pay attention to the little details while keeping our styling subtle and original.”
“We also introduce our first Waves & Trees print as part of our new campaign. These are the two elements that continue to map out our adventures and continue to inspire us being surrounded by both at our home in the New Forest, England”
“The inspiration for this collection took elements from road trips, surf adventures and van life while exploring forests, mountains and remote cabins. The team spent some time road tripping Scotland and the Pacific Northwest, which you will see has heavily influenced the range. A lot of the colours used reflect those wintery isolated adventures through the Scottish Highlands and the rugged pine backed, drift wood covered beaches from the PNW.”
“The collection includes knitted sweaters, T-shirts, sweater and hoods, beanies and a new Jacket. Our key pieces are our Woodster jacket, Axeman knitted sweater and our Campers Little helper Knife which comes with a fire strike and canvas case. The idea was to create a product range that functions well, durable and a comfortable feel for long days travelling and cruising about in a campervan.”
“The whole collection has a definite influence from isolated Adventures through Canada and Scotland with warm durable fabrics suited to those Outdoor style people, adventurers, logs men, Adventure Surfers and wanderers.”
